For a more scenic experience, embark on a ferry from Stresa or other locations along the lake, treating yourself to a delightful cruise to Verbania Intra. Alternatively, you can also opt for public transportation, such as trains or buses, to reach Verbania and then take a leisurely stroll along the lakeside to Intra.
If you arrive from Milan Malpensa airport
There’s a direct bus connection between Malpensa and Verbania Intra on Lake Maggiore. The service is called Alibus and it operates on a reservation basis. Alibus takes you right into the historic center of Verbania Intra, along the lakeshore. It’s incredibly convenient because it stops at the following bus stop: Imbarcadero Vecchio Corso Mameli 157, which holds a central position in Intra Lake Maggiore.
