We had this experience a few years ago.

If, like us, you explore the city in this period, you will find that the heat is manageable, allowing you to dress lightly and enjoy long walks. We appreciated the long daylight hours, exploring even the most iconic places.

One mode of transport we tried was using a rented scooter. We rode long stretches along the Seine. The experience was fun and relaxing… for those who are capable! Being right next to the water, I had the fear of falling in! The experience went smoothly and was worth it, despite initially having some difficulty because my scooter was a bit faulty. Despite this minor inconvenience, it turned out well! For those who prefer, the same route can easily be done on foot, enjoying the walk in complete safety.

The Seine River banks: a perfect place for relaxing strolls or, as we did, a fun scooter adventure!

Of course, visiting Paris in August means encountering many people and preparing for some long queues, especially for museums. One of its most iconic features is the outdoor tables and chairs, often protected by characteristic red (or other colors) awnings. There are many of them, some more famous, like the celebrated Café de Flore, and others less so, all offering a unique experience.

An Unforgettable Dinner: L’Entrecôte and Friendship at the Table

Another truly unforgettable experience, one I’ll always remember, was dinner at Le Relais de L’Entrecôte . This restaurant is famous for its unique dish: entrecôte ( sirloin), served with fries and a side salad. The characteristic of these establishments, like many Parisian places, is that the space is limited compared to the number of people.

For this reason, we sat very close to our neighbors, so much so that we became friends: we went in two and came out four! However, the central location allowed us to walk and reach the Eiffel Tower easily, letting us enjoy the light show almost every evening.

A Tip for Disneyland Paris

If you plan to visit Disneyland Paris, summer is certainly one of the best times. Unlike other parks (like those in Florida), the climate in Paris is not as stable, and the Park’s opening hours can vary significantly due to seasonality.

When you visit, you need time for attractions, shows, and parades! Therefore, if you go during a period when the park is open longer, like summer, you can allow yourself more hours of magic. We advise you to always check the opening and closing times on the official Disneyland Paris website before departing.

🍁 Autumn Atmosphere and Sensations

After sharing with you our experience from a few years ago in the height of summer, it is time to update the picture with a more recent trip in autumn, between 10 and 12 October 2025 .

This time, the exceptional reporter was Gabriel , who traveled to Paris for a few days. Although it wasn’t a firsthand experience for me, Gabriel regularly travels with me and seized the opportunity (along with two other adventure companions) to be my “eyes” in the city. Under my guidance, he captured the key aspects of this period, the atmosphere, and the beauty that autumn has to offer, in a visual comparison with the summer Paris we’d already visited together.

Unusual Weather: The Importance of Dressing in Layers

Before leaving, Gabriel was a little worried about what to pack, fearing the cool climate typical of Parisian autumn. My advice was to pack layers . Autumn, in fact, is a season that always holds surprises, and the weather is no longer 100% predictable.

And so it was: despite the weather forecast predicting rain in the previous days, Gabriel and his friends were surprised by very pleasant and mild temperatures , almost abnormal for the time of year. They walked a lot and, at times, even had to take off their jackets because it was hot.

This is a crucial detail to note: even if you’re visiting Paris in October or autumn, it’s essential to dress in layers and bring both light and warm clothing, as the weather can be unpredictable.
