Usually, we know that the early morning hours are the best to enjoy the sea, but for our first day in Mykonos, we wanted to be extra prepared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Online, you often read &#8216;scary&#8217; stories: <em>&#8216;In July and August, it\u2019s impossible to find a sunbed! Everything is packed!&#8217;<\/em> It can be intimidating, so we decided to test it ourselves. Since we had our car, our plan was simple: <em>&#8216;Let\u2019s get there early\u2014if it\u2019s already full, we\u2019ll just drive somewhere else.&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We arrived at <strong>Lia Beach<\/strong> around 9:30 AM on July 30th. To our surprise, it was the complete opposite of those horror stories. It was so quiet that we actually arrived <strong>too early<\/strong>! The staff were still setting up the umbrellas and cleaning the shore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What makes this beach a true &#8216;Oasis of Tranquility&#8217; is that there is only <strong>one<\/strong> exclusive venue here: the <strong>Liasti Beach Club<\/strong>. Unlike other famous beaches in the south where clubs are lined up one after another, having just one refined spot keeps the atmosphere sophisticated and peaceful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Waiting those few minutes for them to open was a gift. I was able to film the entire bay in total solitude, showing the serene side of Mykonos that most people think doesn&#8217;t exist in the middle of summer. It\u2019s a hidden gem that rewards those who don&#8217;t let the rumors scare them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-beach-a-mosaic-of-pebbles-and-crystal-clear-water\">The Beach: A Mosaic of Pebbles and Crystal-Clear Water<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lia Beach<\/strong> has a unique composition: it\u2019s a mix of fine pebbles and a smaller amount of slightly larger stones. This texture makes it different from typical sandy beaches, offering a special feel underfoot. The real strength of this beach, however, is its sea. The water is extraordinarily clear, so much so that you can see small fish swimming near the shore even without snorkeling. Sometimes you might notice small bits of debris, likely carried by the current, but the overall cleanliness is very good and doesn\u2019t detract from the amazing seascape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-seabed-a-gradual-exploration\">The Seabed: A Gradual Exploration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As you enter the water at <strong>Lia Beach, Mykonos<\/strong>, the seabed changes little by little. You start with the fine pebbles, then encounter the slightly larger ones, until you reach larger, smooth, fixed rocks. It\u2019s useful to know this in advance, especially if you\u2019re used to sandy seabeds. However, this rocky formation contributes to the amazing transparency of the water and the presence of marine life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"liasti-beach-club-classy-elegance-and-service\">Liasti Beach Club: Classy Elegance and Service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The heart of <strong>Lia Beach, Mykonos<\/strong> is the Liasti Beach Club, an elegant and well-maintained establishment. It\u2019s important to note that while the services are good, they might not be the most economic option on the island, and the service, while good, is not quite excellent. Still, the staff gets the job done and allows for a relaxing day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"umbrellas-and-sunbeds-late-july-2025-prices\">Umbrellas and Sunbeds: Late July 2025 Prices<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Liasti offers various options for renting umbrellas and two sunbeds with mattresses. The prices, as of late July 2025, reflect the exclusive nature of the location:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>First row:<\/strong> \u20ac150<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Second row:<\/strong> \u20ac120<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Third row:<\/strong> \u20ac100<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>From the fourth row onwards:<\/strong> \u20ac80 (with slightly smaller sunbeds)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An important detail: towels are only included for those who take the first row. For other rows, you can rent them separately. The payment system is convenient: the bill is settled at the end of the day, including all your food and drink consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"menu-and-dining-variety-and-great-offerings\">Menu and Dining: Variety and Great Offerings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The club boasts a very varied menu, which can be viewed via a handy QR code under the umbrella. The offering ranges from breakfast (available until 1:00 PM) to a selection of appetizers and main courses. The Black Angus Burger (\u20ac27) and the Liast\u00ec Club Sandwich (\u20ac23) were found to be complete, generous, and very tasty. Drink prices are in line with Mykonos: a liter of water costs \u20ac7, but is served in a practical basket with ice to keep it chilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"additional-services-for-complete-relaxation\">Additional Services: For Complete Relaxation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to dining, the Liasti Beach Club offers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Water Sports:<\/strong> If you\u2019re looking for a bit of adrenaline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Massages:<\/strong> For moments of pure well-being right on the beach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Shop:<\/strong> An area to buy souvenirs or beach accessories.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Beach Volley Court:<\/strong> For those who love sports even on vacation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-atmosphere-relaxing-tranquility-and-controlled-wind\">The Atmosphere: Relaxing Tranquility and Controlled Wind<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the best things about <strong>Lia Beach, Mykonos<\/strong> is its extremely relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. The beach generally stays calm, with a pleasant background music from the beach club. Being located on the southeastern coast of the island, it is more sheltered from the strong summer wind, the Meltemi. This means you will often find calmer conditions here, which adds to the amazing experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"parking-and-accessibility\">Parking and Accessibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Parking at the Liasti Beach Club is free for customers. It\u2019s important to know that even those who don\u2019t want to use the paid services will find ample space in the free beach area to lay down a towel and enjoy the crystal-clear sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"video-beach-and-driving\">Video Beach and driving to the beach<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Lia Beach is arguably the most stunning hidden gem in Southern Mykonos. It\u2019s a tropical paradise with water so crystal clear, it feels like a dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What\u2019s great about this spot is that you have choices: you can rent a sunbed and umbrella for full comfort, or you can find a spot for your own towel in the free beach area\u2014which, as you know, is definitely not a given here in Mykonos!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But how do you get here? Stick with me until the end. I\u2019ll show you the drive through those narrow Mykonos roads\u2014they are tight, but manageable, just a little adventure\u2014and I\u2019ll also show you the parking area.
