Where to Find Super Paradise Beach?

Super Paradise Beach is located on the southern coast of Mykonos, about 7 km (4.3 miles) southeast of Mykonos Town (Chora). Its prime location makes it easily accessible, and its legendary status draws visitors from every corner of the globe.

The Summer Vibe: The Party Never Stops Here!

Super Paradise is synonymous with celebration. The atmosphere is electrifying and the energy is palpable, beginning in the early afternoon as the music gets louder and the cocktails flow freely. This beach is a true entertainment hub, popular with a young and lively crowd and anyone else who wants to dive into the iconic Mykonos party scene. DJ sets and dancing continue well into the evening.

An Important Note for Early Birds (July/August): While the beach gets very crowded, especially in late July and August, the real peak of the crowd tends to happen closer to lunchtime, around 11:30 AM or 12:00 PM. People here tend to arrive later in the day. So, if you get there in the early morning, the beach will be much quieter, allowing you to enjoy it at its best.

The Beach Itself: Sand, Pebbles, and Sea Access

Super Paradise Beach features a mix of pebbles and fine sand, perhaps slightly less fine than at Lia Beach. The waters are a brilliant turquoise and incredibly crystal-clear, making it a perfect spot for swimming and cooling off. The bay is well-protected from the strong winds (Meltemi), which means the sea is usually calm and ideal for swimming.

In the central part of the beach, there are also some smooth rocks that separate the shallow area from the deeper water. To make it easier for swimmers to access the deeper water, sacks have been placed to form walkways, preventing people from slipping. There are also areas on the sides of the beach where these rocks are not present, and the access is more direct.

Services and Facilities: Exclusive and Comfortable Beach Clubs

Super Paradise Beach is fully equipped with several highly-regarded beach clubs. They offer comfortable sunbeds, often with mattresses on top of the wooden loungers, to ensure maximum relaxation. The main clubs are:

  • Super Paradise Beach Club: The pulsating heart of the beach, famous for its international DJ sets and parties that last well into the night.
  • JackieO’ Beach Club: A more glamorous and inclusive option, with an elegant atmosphere and entertaining drag shows.

All clubs provide high-quality sunbeds and umbrellas, table service directly on the beach, and restaurants and bars with a wide selection of food and drinks.

The Free Beach Area: There’s Room for Everyone

Despite the prevalence of paid beach clubs, it’s important to know that there is ample space for a free beach area at Super Paradise. Our observations from late July 2025 confirmed the presence of large sections of unequipped beach, especially on the edges and between the different establishments.

This allows you to lay down your own towel and enjoy the sea without any cost. The free beach areas aren’t huge, but if you arrive early in the morning, there’s still plenty of space. So, if you don’t want to spend €100 or more on a sunbed, or if you’re only planning to stay for a few hours, you can simply lay down your towel, go for a walk, and swim without having to face these expenses.

A practical tip: If you opt for the free beach, bring your own umbrella if you have one, as finding umbrellas for sale in the island’s supermarkets or markets is extremely difficult.

Super Paradise Prices: Luxury Comes at a Price (with examples from July 31, 2025)

As with most of Mykonos’s famous beaches during peak season, prices at Super Paradise Beach are high.

  • Sunbed Prices (Verified July 31, 2025): At the central Super Paradise Beach establishment, the average price is €100 per couple for a set of sunbeds and an umbrella. At JackieO’ Beach Club, the cost for 2 sunbeds in the front row is €140, to which you must add €70 for the umbrella. In the rows behind, the average is €70 for two sunbeds, plus the €70 umbrella fee.
  • Food & Drinks: A bottle of water at the beach clubs can be up to €7, and cocktails start from €15-€20, easily reaching €25-€30 or more during peak hours.

Money-Saving Tip: If you plan to spend the entire day, consider bringing water and snacks from a supermarket to keep costs down.

How to Get to Super Paradise Beach

  • Bus: There is a public bus service that connects Mykonos Town to Super Paradise, although rides can be crowded.
  • Taxi Boat: Taxi boats frequently depart from the nearby Platis Gialos beach, which is a convenient and scenic way to arrive by sea.
  • Rented Vehicle: Renting a scooter, quad bike, or car is the most flexible way to get there and leave whenever you wish, though parking can be a challenge in high season.

An Experience You Can’t Miss

Super Paradise Beach is a must-visit for anyone in Mykonos who wants to experience its legendary day and night life. Whether you choose to dance by the pool with a cocktail or relax on the free beach, the energy of this place will create unforgettable memories.

Beyond the Party: A Magical Evening at Super Paradise

When you think of Mykonos, especially a beach like Super Paradise, your mind immediately goes to wild parties and loud music. But Mykonos also has a more intimate, romantic, and relaxing side. This is the discovery we made when we visited Super Paradise Beach in the evening, and we couldn’t be happier we took the opportunity. It’s an equally valid option for travelers who are looking for a more sophisticated atmosphere where they can appreciate the food, company, and stunning landscape.

A Magical Dinner on the Sand

On the evening of August 5, 2025, we headed to Super Paradise Beach to have dinner at the Talos Taverna. The atmosphere immediately charmed us: a cozy Greek-style setting with tables facing directly onto the beach. The staff was exemplary. For our main course, they showed us the fresh fish of the day, a practice that instantly reassured us about the quality and freshness of the ingredients. We chose prawns, and with great professionalism, they immediately told us the exact weight and cost, a level of honesty not always found in such touristy locations.

The evening environment was a real surprise. As we ate, we could admire the two headlands on either side of the bay, lit up by colorful lights from nearby clubs. The effect was magical, offering a completely different view than the daytime. The floating pier, stretching into the sea and illuminated all around, created a reflection on the water that made it look like a beautiful turquoise pool.

Linguine with Giant Prawns: A Sensorial Experience

For dinner, we opted for linguine with the fresh prawns we had chosen. The dish, prepared with 750 grams of giant prawns, was a true delight. The prawns were very flavorful, and the sauce, made from their juices, enhanced every bite. The pasta was seasoned with a unique spice that added a touch of originality without being overpowering. The meal fully met our expectations. And for those who get their hands messy, like we did, it was very helpful that the staff provided tongs, crackers, and extra napkins, showing great attention to detail and customer comfort.

A Relaxing and Romantic Atmosphere

While we enjoyed our dinner, we appreciated the background music from the Talos Taverna. Far from the pounding rhythms of the clubs, the music was pleasantly melodic, with a Greek style that perfectly matched the tranquility of the setting. After a day spent amidst the frantic pace of Mykonos, this more relaxed evening was exactly what we needed. It’s proof that Mykonos isn’t just about wild nightlife but can also offer romantic and peaceful evenings that allow you to fully appreciate the island’s true beauty.
