Hi everybody, we are in Bardolino on Lake Garda. This beautiful town is undoubtedly one of my favorites among those on Lake Garda.
What do I like about Bardolino? The beautiful walk along the lakeside, the center with the shops, and the wide beach.
I also love to admire the sunset: the sun that gradually hides behind the mountains, the beautiful sky colors, and the lights of Bardolino reflecting on the lake.
This is why I invite you to watch this video in its half where you see the sunset and in the final part where you see the lights of Bardolino reflected in the lake water.
The big wine barrel in front of us is the giant wine barrel with the words “I love Bardolino”. You also saw it at the beginning of the video.

Honestly, I’ve stopped trying to pinpoint its exact location because it seems to love changing its “address” every few months! However, I am completely confident that you will find it somewhere during your visit. It’s an essential part of the town’s charm, and it would be a true surprise if it weren’t there to greet you.

Over the years, Gabriel and I have spent countless days in Bardolino, and this heart-shaped wine barrel has become our favorite “set” for souvenir photos.

We have realized that the placement of the barrel can sometimes make it tricky to get the perfect shot with the sun, as the light can play tricks on your camera depending on where the barrel is positioned on the lakefront. Don’t worry, though—the view of the lake is always spectacular. Just have fun with it, and you’re guaranteed to leave with a beautiful, romantic souvenir of your time in Italy.
